This year’s exhibit features organic gardening soils and products to help gardeners learn how to put “green concepts” in their landscape. Staff will help youth plant their own bean seeds to take home in an organic peat container filled with their custom-blended GroMor potting soil. Did you know that Diatomaceous Earth helps keep fleas away, or you can use vinegar to help reduce weeds in your yard? You can also learn what products are safe around kids, pets and water- ways; and which ones can help you grow the best-tasting fruits and veg- etables right in your own yard.
