SIUSLAW NEWS ❚ WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 25, 2015 Salvation Army to host Christmas Boat Parade DUNES CITY — Several local supporters of The Salvation Army-Western Lane County, including Dunes City Mayor Rebecca Ruede, met recently at Darlings Marina and RV Resort for a Making a Difference Dinner. During the fundraiser dinner, plans were made for a Christmas Boat Parade. The night parade on Siltcoos Lake will be held Saturday, Dec. 12, from 5 to 6 p.m. Boats will be decorated with Christmas lights and partici- pants can register now by call- ing Darlings Marina at 541- 997-2841. All registrations should be completed no later than 2 p.m. on Dec. 12.
