This town does so much for so many, and there are people that don’t get the recognition they should receive. I’ve been blessed. This community has given more to me than I could ever give back.” Three SRAC members will make a presentation to the Mapleton School Board tonight. Their goal will be to get approval from the district to seek funding for the pool. “We hope to get the blessing of the district that if the fund- ing is acquired then the district would sign the documents nec- essary, such as grants, and take seriously the plan to revive the pool,” Hesse said. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. in the library of the Mapleton High School at 10868 E. Mapleton Road. The Portland Police Bureau, after receiving a tip, arrested Neal Allen Panschow, 44, on Dec. 21 in Multnomah County.
