Mr Manary had l>eeu ailing for a year past but ,M not taken seriously ill u n- , ill als.ut three months ago, when hie ' malady. Blight's disease, assumed a serious form ami lie soon passed beyond 1 medical assistance. While awaiting the last summon* he ls*re hie illness with | calm fortitude and committed bis spirit ■ to the Great Father in a firm belief ol a ! life beyond the grave. The deceased was born in Ontario. ' Canada, .March 9, 18tH. He leave, a wife ami two children beside an aged I lather and mother, Joseph and Caroline ; Man-try, and several brothers and ela ters, all of whom are well known resi dents ol this county. For several years Mr Manary had been a faithful member of Gresham hxlge, No. 125, 1. O. O. F., under the auapiees of which the funeral services were held at the grave. These aervicea were proceeded by a funeral rermon at the Methodist church by Dr. A. Tbonip- I son, that edifice heing tilled to overflow ing with a throng of mourner, and aym- pathising friends.
