The music loverB of Hepptier enjoyed a very rare treat last Fri day evening, when Mary Adele Case, coutralto. appeared in a con cert at Roberts Hall. The concert was scheduled for nine o'clock, bat long before that time the eager and expectant crowd bad assembled, and when the lady finally appeared she was greeted with hearty ap plause. MirS ObBO won her audience with the rendition of the first number, and from that time on to the end of the program every number was warmlv applauded and sue was compelled to respond with several encores. The program was tntirely class io, well adapted to the rioti round voice of the singer.' As accompanist, Mrs. Metzlei'd work Was par excellence and aided materially in making the concert a success.
