The groom is the oldest son of
Jlr. and Mrs. R. W. Turner, pioneer
residents of Morrow county. He
received his education in the local
schools and a business college in
Portland, and ia one of the promis
ing yoarg men of the communitv.
The brido is the youngest daugh
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Cochran,
of Monument. For a number of
years she has made her home in
Heppner, attending High school,
from which she graduated, and
later holding the position of teach
er of the Eighth grade, of which
she is the pnsent incumbent.
Mr. and Mrs. Turner returned
from their honeymoon trip last
night and are living at the J. V.
Crawford residence in the western
part of town.
