Bad feel ing is not ouly detrimental but un called for. The lone Proclaimer is laboring under a wrong impres sion in the statement in last week's issue that Heppner is "butting in." The Gazette can assure the people of lone that they have the best wishes of Heppner in their efforts. Morrow county is big enough and we hope broad euongh to hold three good celebrations where pa triotism will overshadow strife and envy. Mr. Harry A. Duncan and Miss Ethel Reid, best man and brides mum respectively, very cleverly es corted the contracting parties Ito the nuptial altar. Brock is employed as teller in tDe First National Bank, and has been connected with this institution for the past five years, and through his accom modations and genial nature he has made for himself friends without .num bet as well as being a credit to his em ployers. Miss Reid has been a resident of our city for the past seven years and has been employed at teaching in the public schools of Heppner and Morrow county. Miss Reid through her many accom plishments has won for herself a large circle of friends wherever she has p one. After the ceremony, the newly mar ried couple went immtdiattly to their newly iurnished home on West Balti more avenue, where they Will be at home to their friends. Tokens of es teem were manifested in many beauti ful presents of cut glass and silverware. Those who witnessed the ceremony were: Prof, and Mrs. Reid, Rev. and Mrs. Wright, Mr. and Mrs. Conser, Misses Morgan, Rood, Morehouse, Beh rens, Messrs.
