Mr. H art, republican candidate for district attorney, publishes a letter in the Salem Daily Journal of May, 4 1900, in which lie explsines bis qual- ticalions for office, and in cunclusion says: “ My experience in the law in cludes both criminal anil civil cases; and I have practiced in all state courts. Justice. County, Circuit, and Huprsme and also in the Federal court, in all ol which I have had reasonable good suc cess. If any one doubts ilisse state ments, let him consult the records of the courts. It is true, I hsve been superintendent of schools in Polk county for two terms and so far as I know have given saii«- f lotion to the patrons and teschers ol the schools.
