U. convention met at the Christian church in Dallas Tuesday morning and was called to order by Mrs. L If. AdtliUn. Rev. B. Z. Riggs told bow to carry gospel temperance to the masses and Pastors Gnodfriend and Harman offered words of encourgemcut. After the consider ation of various matters came the noon adjournment to discuss the bountiful lunch awaiting the assemblage in the basement. Mrs. H. A. Adkins, the county president, arrived at neon ami presided thereafter. The program as outlined was substantially carried out Although the occasion was pleasant and profitable neither the attendance nor the enthusiasm were wlmt they should have been. Wednesday after noon there were a number of spirited short talks on why women should have llie ballot.
