Freeman Bevens, who had been out on his ranch at Airlie, j-Jias returned home again. Mrs. T. Douglas left Saturday for her home in Portland after a few days visit to friends here, Mrs. D. Huntington sprained her ankle severely a few days ago as the result of an accidental fall. Prof. J. B. Horner and Samuel Hartsock spent Saturday in Al bany attending to business mat ters. .... A. The Artisans had an enjoyable aneeting Thursday evening, at which a delicious box luncheon was serve'd. M. L. Sites, the Alsea saw mill man, was looking after business interests in the city on Friday and Saturday. Tommy Autzen, President of the student body at OAC reveiv ed a pleasant visit from his mother last week. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Henkle have left for Chehalis, Wash., to spend the holiday season with their son, Arthur, and his family, who live in that city. S. S. Bullis was seventy-two years young last Thursday.
