We trust he will reap an abundant crop for his energy. On the trial of Cloninger the jury dis agreed, 8 being for murder in the second degree, and four for manslaughter. I The mill has shut down on account of liigh water, and mill-hands are scatter ing out to get employment elsewhere. Mr. Obed Blakesley has built a cor. rail on Miltou to collect; his hogs, and is camped on an island in the overflowed1!
