A Sad Affair. On last Monday about 4 o'clock in the afternoon, T II Glaze came up to Mr. A II Whitley, who was standing by his carriage giving orders to Mr. Teal for its repair, and shot hitu twice, once in the neck and a second time in the head causing instant death. Glaze was arrested and waived an examini . tion and wa placed under bonds of ten thous and dollars for his appearance to the circuit eourt. So far as we can learn Whitley did not see his assailant at all, and in all probability never knew who shot him.
