A remark able Sunday evening meeting wai held by Otorge Francis Train in the hall of the Grand opera boute last evening. The ball wascrowd ed. Many prominent men were present. They had tome with the professed intention of dis turbing the meeting, and they succeeded. Mr. Train was tender ed an ovation upon entering the hail, an I the ovation continued until he left at the close of the meeting. Whenever he a tempted to sneak the applause became deafening and he invariably took a seat until some semblance of order was restored. At times he became profane in his remarks about the disturoers, which only increased their shouts of derision. At last he gave in, and stopped bis lec ture. A man jumped on tbe stage and undertook to quiet Mr. Train by telling him to go on with the lec ture and the noise would stop. Train was apparently angry that the stranger should speak to him. for he attacked him, and striking luai b bind the ear. landed him on the ball floor. Then some of tbe ciowd took possession of tbe door and refused to let anybody out.
