past few days one of the largest
corporation, in its line, in the
w orld. The charter was filed in
Spiinnfield to-day, and the new
company will be known as the
'American Harvesting Company,"
for the nianufactiiie of harvesting,

Col. Conger, when questioned by
an As--ciated Press reporter, this
evening, said the present ' mor
alized condition of the harvesting
Imsiness necessitated the forma
tion of a new company. The coct
of material has been advancing, t-o
it became necessary, oither to
raise the price of machinery to
farmers, or, through economy,
produce and distribute them more
cheaply, as it is the purpose of this
new organization to do. It is of
no less interest to bfnder manu
facturers than to farmers them
selves that the latter should

ing this object is one of ihe im

SUICIDE AT ORAM'S PASS.
A Hotel Keeper Shoots Himself
Through the Heart,
Grant's Pass, Or., Nov. 19. H.
E. Dulybon, proprietor of the Bag
ley bouse, committed suicide by
shooting himself through the heart
this morning. The following note
was in his hand :
"Oh my good God, how can I
leave my dear family ; nu one
knows how much 1 think of them.
1 cannot think of committing
murder by killing my dear wife,
yet I would like to relieve her of
more trouble. I must quit lor I
am becoming crazy. 1 have
thought of self destruction for the
past ten years."
