whom a little romance is con
nected. One year ago Miss Sophia
Ish, of Jacksonville, was perhaps
the most wealthy lady in Southern
Oregon, having inherited by the
death her father, the late Jacob

Gore, of Portland, sought the
young ladies hand in marriaga, but

however, for she recently deeded
away all her property to her rela
tives, and then mnrned the hus

home will be in Portland.
