Oreiron is a fine place in which uv uunu laiiiuaus, tnjjcciaii v ill lue Winter, when all the wagon roids got saturated with "Oregon mist," the railroads come to tlie front. We are still looking that way hopefully, and in the past year we have been demonstrating the maxim that "The Lord helps those that help themselves," and towns, like individuals, must ask for what they need if they expect to get it. Tlie last few days has brought out the beginning of another railroad enterprise. A scheme to secure the right of way and build a rail road from this place up the Cala pooia to the fine timber there and the mines on the upper Calapooia.
