A Lady ISearly Prostrated by a ' Patent Medicine. A lady well-known in the Western Ad dition lias been a great r.ufferor for years with indigestion nnd dyspepsia. Struck with the testimonials praising Joy's Veg etable S.irsaparilla, she sent for a. bottle. The druggist, not having it, talked them into taking another Sarsaparilla. As the leading Sarsaparillas use mineral blood purifiers, the effect of the emptying of Iodide of Potash inton stomach already distressingly delicate was disastrous, almost prostrating her before the mistake was rectified. Sho then called upon Mrs. Powder, of 327 Ellis street, whose name was among t hose cured by Joy's Vegetable Farsanarilln. Mr. Fowler paid it was true l hat it had cured her. Again reassured, the vegetable compound was sent for mid potten.
