The firemen were lustily cheered on their arrival, and were sumptu ously cared for free of charge at the Yaquina hotel, accommodations having been provided for by Mana ger Iloag. The fire has been burning for several days all around the bay, even in the drift-wood on boih north and south beaches, but yes terday the danger seemed past, as the tires were dying out.
