Tlis P:hjrmtii SisDoly Waited Until T.dj aad Tbsa'Waied Ashore. Low Probably before tiis time the iievrspajers on the Sound and oth er rival ports to Yaquina are pub lishing under big headlines a thrilling account ot "Another Wreck at Yaqnina." The simple facts, as bta'ned from a gentleman who came over from Yaquina yesterday, are that the Rowena, a little two-masted fishing schooner, worth about f 2000, while out deep sea fishing, became becalmed and driiteu upon the sands a mile below the south jetty. Three fishermen on board clung to the ringing all the after noon. A lile boat went to their res-, u-'. but the men not feeling tiienifives in much danger, pre ferred !o stay with their vesse'. They waiteed tint 1 low tide and then waded ashore. Their litile buat was left comfortably high and ; dry. It will be loaded on a wagon I and hauled back to Yaquina City i and launched atrain. This will spoil many ingenius j arguments against the aletv ol ! i a'pi-na Harbor, out trutn com j pels ns to .-ay that the incident oc curred one mile south ot the har bor, and t hut there has not been ' aii'itner wreck at Yaquina.' l'KKStAI.
