Hriak has just received a full supply of the latest styleB and patterns of molding and secured the services of a first class work man and is prepared to put up the best picture frames ever manu factured in the city. An actor's hick is illustrated by the terrible accident at Johnstown, where a company played, and be ing too late to catch the train for the next town, hired wagons to transport them just in time to escape certain death. In spite of the fact that actors travel more than any other profession, none seem ever to get hurt in any kind of accident. It is as hard to kill an actor, as it is a printer. rKKSONAL MENTION. How It Was Interiapted by o Asg'j Parent and a Big 8ix-3ho:ter. From Jefferson comes :i romantic story of a young Lochinoar, who won his bride in the face an anrrv parent armed with a revolver A young mai from that place, a brother of the bridegroom, who was in the city yesterday, stated the following: Fred Smith woed and won a daughter of a farmer named. Marshal Hoffman went to Tangent and arreste.l him and brought him tc this city last evening. Th Georgir Woodthorpo "Fanchon" -as presented bv this excellent company at the opera house last evening. In this play the company surpassed all previous efforts, and the audience was delighted as was shown b the hearty and continuous applause. Georgie Wo-adthorpe as'l'anchon fairly captivated the audience in her charimug rendition of the part, while Miss Lizzie Lawrence played the part of Fadet, the witch, with remarkable cleverness and success. MiflS Keam Stover in her role was most pleasing as usual. The other characters were admirably I sustained, and the play was pre sented in a most successiul man- Q3r. To-night the company will i play "The Two Orphans," which is counted their strongest d best. A week of more solid enjoyment and 1 better plavs has never lieen pre sented by any company in this city. There will doubtless le an im mense audience on this, their last i night. This afternoon u matinee will he given, waen "Caprice" will be played and a gold watch given away. A gold watch will also be given away at the evening per lormance. Thft r Outlaok.
