Mary Elizath Barrett is anxious "to be supported by her daughter Xarifa Jane Failing and to that ends apks the Superier Coutft to compel Xarifa to pay her $50 per month since and commencing on the 2d day of May,1888, and there after during her natural life. In her petition to the Court, Mrs. Barrett Fays that she is now living in San Francisco, and is in actual "want, and that fifteen long years ago Xarifa by "acts of ingratitude and law suits defrauded hei of her property rights in a despicable, jrieaa way leaving her destitute und inhumanly driving her inwant irom her home." Mrs. Barrett al leges that Xarifa is worth $40,000, and has a monthly income of $500. Mrs. Failing is the woman who re cently killed her husband because of his infidelitv. Ciiven Away. W. F.
