Several days ago Lee Mackey was
plowing on the farm of C. S. Max
Tvell, near Buffalo village, P:i,when
lie stopped to die; away the sod
about a stump. As he pulled

flat stone, which evidently hadn't

still more astonished to find that
under the stone was a pot of shin
ing gold coin to the value of near
ly $3000 Mackey resigned his job
The next day and left for his home
in Greene couuty to enjoy the fruits
of his gotd fortune. The money
i supposed to been hidden Robert
Dryden, who many years ago oc
cupied a cabiu near by and was
i.omewhat of a miser.
