-state of Oregon is called to meet at
the city of Portland, Oregon, on
Wedn".ay, the 11th dav of April,
A. Dj 1888, at II o'clock A. M.,
for the purpose of nominating can
didates for tiie following officers,
to-wit. Representative io congress,
three presidential electors, supreme
judge aud district officers, aud to
select six delegates to attend the
national republican convention,
and to transact such other business
as nsnv properly come before the
convention. The couventiou will
consist of 209 delegates, apportion
ed among the several counties as
