state oi Oregon is called to meet at
the city of Portland, Oregon, on
Wedu'-sday, the Uth day of Apri!,
A. D. at 1 1 o'clock A. M.,
for the purpose of nominatirj; can
didates for tiie following officers,
to-wit. Representative in congress,
three presidential electors, supreme
jude and district officers, and to
select six delegates to attend the
uationul republican convention,
und to transact sueh other business
as mav properly come before the
convention. The convention wiil
consist of 209 delegates, apportion
ed among the several counties as
