Blanco Lodge A. F. & A. M., at
Marshfield, had a request recently
for information regarding relatives
and friends of George Wallen, who
was formerly a resident on the bny
and had died at Brunswick, Geor­
gia. Wallen had lived on the bny
many years, latterly at Porter, hold­
ing positions of importance at vari­
ous times, nnd was associated with
most of the fraternal organizations
there. W. T. Miller, of Fishlrap
had read the notice in the H erald ,
and while in town last Thursday
informed ns that he was a second
cousin to Wallen, nnd that the
father of deceased, W.| P. Wallen,
lived at Adams, Umatilla county.
Oregon. There are several broth­
ers of Wallen, but Mr. Miller does
not know where to address them.
