T h e old uentlemnn was well and favorably known in Coos county, nnd this news will occnsiou sincere regret to a host of acquaintances and friend«, and sympathy to a large circle o f bereaved ones, among whom who are still hero, his aged wife, seyernl son« and daughters and many grandchildren. Elder Bunch was advanced in years, being above the three score and ten allotment o f life, and had eventful experiences therein. H e wns a resident o f our section for twenty odd years, an enterprising, good citizen, respected by all. H e wns a veteran o f the Mexican war, nnd had been much o f his life on the frontiir. Mr. Bauch went to Florida on church work, somewhere about a year ago; he seemed to be doing well and had purchased a home, expecting soon to have at least a portion o f his fam ily with him, but he took sick recently of some local malady and it was too much for him.
