On return 3f thecommittee, Prof. Kinnicutt announced the judgment and award to be to No. 1— Miss Lillie Busch—on a percentage of 86,No. 2 standing 82 and No. 3, 70. The presentation of the medal was made with a few felicitous remarks to the contestant. The choir then gave a solo and chorns—The Old nnd New Home; being a revision and rearrange ment of the old favorite song and music o f “ TheOld House atHome.” At the conclusion of this, Rev.Fen- tou pronounced the benediction. The choir comprised Mrs. Tuttle and Miss Marvin Lamb, sopranos; Miss Lilly Wagner, alto; Rev. Fen ton and Brette Clnrk, bassos; A. A. Leach and Frank Strang, tenores; J. S. McEweD, orgnnist. We desire to add here, that the hoys are losing a splendid oppor tunity in not taking an interest in this school o f training. It is an opportunity which your fathers never had, and which many youth in the land are now paying a high tuition for, and yet you slight it. Don’t do it any longer, but train yourself for future usefulness aud noble manhood. • • H i. I h u l H o lm t h e « H o I M i n 11 lti-« | i ih r H h t r l w i m l . ” En.
