Additional locals on 2d pnge. One of our prosperous ranchers near Myrtle Point last week sold the uncut hay on 40 acres o f land to a party for the sum o f $250. The purchaser has been busy since cutting and removing his hay. A special train bearing Gen. Compson, state m lroa d commis sioner, and party, passed through this place Sunday to and from tbe bay. Mr. Wells, Baptist minister from Boseburg, occupied the pul pit at the Methodist church iu this place last Sunday morning und at night.
