The coal miners' unions, representing thou sands of men in several western and northern states, w eie admitted to membership in the federation. The step was made without any extended discussion, such as was anticipated, aud the proposition to admit was carried by a heavy ma jority. Dorris and County Clerk Jennings last week came to blows in the commissioner's court at Eugeue. A legal paper had been left in Dorris’ car and became misplaced.
