Salmon Qulch, in Curry county, has several veins of quartz which prospect well in gold and silver. About one hundred shares of $25 each have been subscribed towards the estublisbmentof an agricultural society in Lane county, and it is confidently believed that the remaining one hundred shares will be disposed of easily.
