Q Attraction« at Seattle Fair o » o t=* » % « O the approval of thousands of visitor# to the 1909 exposition as well their patronage, after they see the land as it really is. There will also be demonstrations of the wonderful productiveness of the virgin soil of the state which will stand greatly in contrast with the worked out farms of the east. This condition will commend itself to the eastern fanner who visits the fair. The very fact alone that two crops of potatoes can be produced every year on the same ground in the Puget Sound country is a fac that will probably surprise many easterners: The minature farm has been platted into small rectangular blocks which have afforded an excellent opportunity for the good roads in structors and landscape artists to sow the germs of modern road construction and the art of beautify ing the farms which will have the effect of making life on the farm and in the country more attractive. Practical demonstrations of berry raising will also be made on the model farm. ittineral came in, wtticli at $18^tn C (»quille River A ransportatior» oance would amount to moiw th;qi Co.*» Schedule • 9100.
