The scow is a strong one and will be the superior of the ordinary scow. It will have an air tight compartment for fresh water for the engine on the driver. It is to be hoped that the work of building the scow may bring good luck, and that a big ship will soon be under way of construction at the yards Charles Hubbard and Lawrence Stitt are assisting Mr. Mc James A. Finch the Portland at torney who shot and killed another attorney, Ralph B. Fisher because Fisher was the cause of having him disbarred, was convicted of murder in the first degree and sentenced to hang, by Judge Bronaugh, Friday Feb. 5th. The killing of Fisher by Finch, was one of the most cold blooded murders ever perpetrated in the state of Oregon. Kay in building the scow.
