In his discretion, from time to time designate as savings depositories to receive deposits from the public mid to account anil dispose of the same ac cording to the terms of tile act. The depositories are to lie kept ojien for the transaction of business every diiy, Sundays mid legnl holidays ex e; cd. during the usual post-otliee I siness hours of the town and locali ties where the respective depositories are located, and during sm-h additional hours us the Postmaster-General may designate. One dollar or a larger amount in multiples ef lp cents will be necessary to open an account, but deposits of 10 cents «»r multipies thereof will be re ceived after an account is opened.
