and taking our goods when we cau
get them, weeks after they are or
dered shipped
W hen placing our orders with
Portland houses we are getting an
acknowledgment of same, stating
'•that I be goods ordered will be
shipped just as soon as the steamers
can lie prevailed tipou to take them,
but, as they have more freight on
their docks than they can take this
trip, wo will have to wait until they
sail, etc, etc, but we will keep after
them until they will receive your
shipment.”
Now, gentlemen, are we going to
sit still and allow Ibis to continue,
and you may rest assured that it is

addition of another boat to Coos Bay.
More boats and better service will
surely make more business, and, as
we are on the wrong sideof the divide
in Coos, we will have to take what is
left, unless we make a move m I lie

points to a direct steamer service of
our own.
