20 S moke S ignals MAY 1, 2018 Student Spotlight Onahzay Pacheco This month, the Youth Edu- cation Department recognized Onahzay Pacheco for her aca- demic achievements. Onahzay is in the eighth grade and attends Faulcon- er Chapman School in Sher- idan. Outside of school, she plays basketball, volleyball and does track. After high school, Onahzay wants to attend West- ern Oregon University and eventually become a sports manager. She attributes her academic success to her aunt helping push her to do well in school and get good grades and Onahzay wanting her family to see her Onahzay Pacheco be successful. Her advice to anyone who may struggle in school is to ask for help from friends, family and others. We at Youth Education are very proud of Onahzay and recognize her hard work this school year. We have noticed of her efforts and great work ethic and the success that she has seen from this. We know there are great opportunities in store for her. Keep up the great work, Onahzay!
