Photos by Michelle Alaimo The center pole for the arbor being built at Uyxat Powwow Grounds was placed on Monday, May 18. The Douglas fir pole is 42 feet tall and weighs 22,000 pounds. The arbor is on schedule to be complete by the Marcellus Norwest Memorial Veterans Powwow in July.
