At the June 4 Legislative Action Committee meeting, Tribal Attorney Rob Greene said that Tribal Council approved in 1999 a ban on the sale of fireworks on Tribal lands. Greene said the Veterans SEB will see how successful the fire works fundraising effort is and perhaps come back and ask for a permanent exemption regarding the sale of fireworks on Tribal lands. The Veterans SEB will be allowed to sell fireworks on Tribal land from June 20 through July 6.
