8 MAY 15,2013 Smoke Signals -MMIM trCl QJQ LTD "S D DTD (po)kS)ftOfi) FOaOdS The Fish & Wildlife Department will hold its annual tag drawing for Deer, Klk, Hear and all ControlDamage tags on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at 5 p.m. at the Natural Resources facility, 47010 S.W. Hebo Koad, Grand Ronde. APPLICATION RULES: Tribal hunting licenses are required before submitting applications with the exception that Tribal members 11 years of age may apply. However, they must turn 12 and have their Hunter's Safety Certificate submitted to the Nat ural Resources Division 5 days prior to the start of that hunt. If a license is not obtained before the submitted applica tion, all applications will be voided. Incomplete or duplicate applications will be voided. Tribal members under 18 years of age must possess a valid Hunter's Safety Certificate. TRIBAL LICENSES are issued at the Natural Resources Division. Please call ahead of time to schedule an appointment to obtain your license. Tribal Enrollment Cards and Hunter's Safety Certificates, for youth under 18, are required at the time of licensing. ONLY ONE APPLICATION PER CATEGORY! Multiple applications will result in ALL APPLICA TIONS being invalid for that hunter. Categories are as follows: BEAR ELK (BOW, 1ST Season, 2ND Season) o Elk Applicants: Bow tag appli cants also may apply for either a 1st or 2nd season elk tag. o DO NOT APPLY FOR BOTH 1st and 2nd season, or all applica tions will be voided. o Bow Applicants: If you are drawn for a bow tag you will no longer be eligible for a 1st or 2nd season tag. CONTROLDAMAGE ELK: o You must write the NAME of the hunt you are applying for on your application where it asks for HUNT NAME. (Example: Wind River, West Trask, Pike, etc.) CONTROLDAMAGE DOE: Any licensed Tribal member may apply- YOUTH CONTROLDAMAGE DEER: Any licensed Tribal member between the ages of 12-17 may ap ply. YOUTH MUST BE ACCOMPA NIED BY AN ADULT AT LEAST 2 1 YEARS OF AGE. APPLICATION DEADLINE: Fri day, July 12, 2013, at 5 p.m. Applications may be mailed, faxed or hand-delivered to one of the fol lowing: Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, 47010 S.W. Hebo Road, P. O. Office: 503-879-2424 Fax: 503-879-5622 All tags will be available for issue on Monday July 22, 2013, beginning at 8 a.m. A Grand Ronde Tribal Hunting and Fish ing License is required to be shown at time of tag pickup. No exceptions. If picking up for others, the Natural Resources needs to be notified prior to pickup. Tag Return Deadlines In accordance with the Natural Re sources Fish and Wildlife ordinance, all tag reports (Kill or No kill, and lost tags) are required TO BE REPORTED within 10 days of the last day of hunt. In an attempt to help all hunters achieve this, the Natural Resources Di vision will allow reporting of activities the following ways: Telephone at 503-879-2424, e-mail at NRDgrandronde. org; mail at P.O. BOX 10, Grand Ronde OR 97347, and in person to the Natu ral Resources Division, 47010 S.W. Hebo Road, Grand Ronde, OR 97347 where a secured drop box is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
