Free MBfa Pmgmm The Master of Art in Management program is designed specifically for lib eral arts majors only. The MA degree program is a 10-month intense study of the basic functional areas of business. After graduation and working for ap proximately two years, all MA graduates are eligible to apply to Wake Forest as part of the MAMBA joint degree program and get the MBA in one year. The new Dean, Steve Reinemund, has created a new scholarship for diverse students pursuing the MA degree called the Corporate Fellowship. The Corporate Fellowship provides full tuition and a $21,000 stipend to cover living expenses. Additionally, each Corporate Fellow will participate in a practicum. The practicum has two components: educational and profes sional development. Each student will be assigned a mentor who is a high level executive with their sponsor corporation. Online degree programs Turn your college credits or associate degree into a more powerful four-year degree from Portland State University. Careers in Natural Resources or Environmental Sciences The University of Idaho is recruiting Native students to their Profes sional Science Master's Program (PSM) in Natural Resources and Envi ronmental Science. The PSM is an innovative interdisciplinary degree that prepares gradu ates for science careers in business, government or nonprofit sectors, and focuses on sustainability science as it applies to natural resources and the environment. The University of Idaho has six $25K NSF fellowships to award, and is very eager to have American Indian applications. Summer theme program: We have not had participation in the first three weeks of the program and so are canceling the remaining story & activity sessions scheduled throughout July. Reading Incentive Program: There are 15 youth registered in the Reading Incentive Program. Participants remember to log your reading time and come into the library to get your prizes! Needs assessment: Our appreciation goes out to the people who completed and returned the Tribal Library Needs Assessment sur veys. We received 46 completed surveys. Tiffany Tonso and Cathrine Buckner were the prize drawing winners, each received a really nice Pendleton gift. The next phase of the Needs Assessment will be the phone survey. I would like to thank you in advance for participat ing in and answering several questions on the phone survey should you get a call from the library staff. Responses on the surveys will help us to determine how to better serve our patrons and will help ensure we are focusing on collection development that matches with what our patrons want. Library expansion: This project has begun with meetings that include identifying the CTGR project team, securing a project man ager and contracting with an architect design firm these past few weeks. Construction will likely begin in late August so please be aware that there may be some down time for the library with little advance notice once construction begins. Down time will be for safety precaution of people and property so please bear with us.
