12 JULY 1,2008 Smoke Signals 2(Q(Q)8-Q)9 Tags 2008-09 Tribal hunting application rules The Fish & Wildlife Committee will hold its annual tag drawing for deer, elk, bear and all control damage tags on Monday, July 28, 2008, at 5 p.m. at the Natural Re sources facility, located at 47010 S.W. Hebo Road, Grand Ronde. APPLICATION RULES: Tribal hunting licenses are required before submitting applications with the exception that Tribal members 11 years of age may apply. However, they must turn 12 by the start of that hunt and have their Hunter's Safety Certificate. Incomplete or duplicate applications will be voided. Tribal members under 18 years of age must possess a valid Hunter's Safety Certificate. TRIBAL LICENSES are issued at the Natural Resources Division. Please call ahead of time to ensure that an autho rized staff member is available to issue licenses. Tribal Enrollment Cards and Hunter's Safety Certificates, for youth under 18, are required at the time of licensing. ONLY ONE APPLICATION PER CATEGORY! Multiple applications will result in ALL APPLICATIONS being invalid for that hunter. BEAR ELK (BOW, 1st Season, 2nd Season) Elk Applicants: Bow tag applicants may also apply for either a 1st or 2nd season elk tag. DO NOT APPLY FOR BOTH 1st & 2nd season All applications will be voided. Bow Applicants: If you are drawn for a bow tag you will no longer be eligible for a 1st or 2nd season tag. CONTROLDAMAGE ELK: You must write the NAME of the hunt you are applying for on your application where it asks for HUNT NAME. (Example: Wind River, West Trnsk. Pike) CONTROLDAMAGE DOE: Any licensed Tribal member may apply.
