" " ' ' "M '' - "' ":' " v Gathering Of Honor On the weekend of July 8-10, Grand Ronde hosted the annual Veterans' Pow-wow. Nez Perce Tribal Elder Steve Rueben led the afternoon grand entry with about 300 people following. With no fry bread on the property, people relied on the elephant ear stand which closed after four hours due to exhaustion and a shortage of supplies. By Ron Karten Hundreds of Elders from more than a dozen Tribes joined Grand Ronde Elders on Friday, July 15, for the 2005 El ders' Honor Day activities.
