Smoke Signals 9 JULY 1, 2005 I Smoke Signals Honored With White Buffalo Award For Excellence I- ' i -V; : Healing On Friday, May 20, the Smoke Signal's staff was honored with the White Buffalo Award presented by Medicine Winds News out of Klamath Falls. Smoke Signal's staff received the award at a pow-wow held in Oak Ridge. The award was for setting an example of excellence in journalism. Shoshone Medicine Man Corbin Harney (above) was in attendance. We Remember You Sister Agnus and Sister Claire, of the St. Mary Convent in Beaverton, at tended the St. Michaels Reunion on Saturday, June 25 at the St. Michaels Church in Grand Ronde. COMPUTER WORKSHOPS Northwest Computer Learning Center in Grand Ronde offers the following training courses through December 2005.
