The scaffolds are now submerged, along with the trade site of old Celilo Village. The traditional way of fishing still exists at locations below the Bonneville Dam, according to Olney Patt, Jr. , Executive Director, Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission and former Chairman of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs Tribal Council.
