Smoke Signals 12 JULY 1, 2002 HUNTING TAGS 2(D) (D3-4DS The Fish & Wildlife Committee will hold its annual tag draw ing for Bear, Elk and all Control Damage tags on Monday, July 22, 2002 at 5:30 p.m. The drawing will take place at the Natural Re sources facility located at 47010 SW Hebo Road, Grand Ronde. Licenses and tags are issued dur ing regular office hours (Monday Friday, 8 a.m. 5 p.m). Li censes require an appointment at least one hour in advance. If you are unable to pick up your tag by the established deadline please call 800-422-0232 or 503-879-2376, to make other arrangements. "2002" Tribal Hunting, Fishing & Gathering Handbooks are avail able at the Natural Resources fa cility. State Hunting & Fishing regulations are also available. Questions regarding rules may be directed to any Fish & Wildlife Committee member or by calling the Fish & Wildlife department at 503-879-2376. O COMPLETE ONLY ONE AP PLICATION PER CATEGORY. MULTIPLE APPLICATIONS WILL RESULT IN ALL APPLI CATIONS BEING INVALID FOR THAT INDIVIDUAL. Categories are as follows: 1. Bear 2. Elk (Bow, 1st or 2nd season) 3. ControlDamage Elk (choose one) 4. ControlDamage Doe APPLICATION RULES: B Tribal members must have a current Tribal license at the time of submitting their application. H Applications must be submit ted by 12:00 noon on July 22, 2002. B Applications not filled out com pletely will be voided B Tribal members applying for general elk tags may apply for one bow tag plus EITHER 1st or 2nd season. If applications are submit ted for both they will be voided. B Tribal members under the age of 18 must possess a Hunter Safety Certificate. Members 11 years old may apply for the drawing proved they turn 12 before the start of the hunt they are applying for. B All tags must be picked up ONE WEEK PRIOR (seven days) to the beginning of the hunt (except gen eral deer). Tags not picked up will be reissued to the next person on the list. For all other rules and regula tions see the Tribal Hunting, Fish ing & Gathering Handbook or the State Big Game Regulations.
