Recreation Intern ($ 10.50hr) Open Until Filled Description of Vacancy The Grand Ronde Tribes are seeking a Recreational Intern to re search recreational needs and draft recreation plans and program outlines. The position is funded by an Administration for Native Americans grant during this coming summer (just over 400 hours). The Intern will observe and review current activities and meet with community youth and families in performing an assessment of recre ation needs. The Intern will also help in scheduling and preparation for recreation events and activities. Minimum Qualifications Requires one year of college course work in health, education, rec reation or youth services and prior employment, volunteer or social organization experience "working" with youth. We are now and will be having a bottle and can drive. We are asking that community members donate their cans and bottles to our efforts. We will be stationed at the Willamina Thriftway on April 20 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. for those of you who wish to drop off your donations, or we will be happy to pick them up at your convenience.
