10 APRIL 15, 2001 Smoke Signals Notice to ODS Participants The Member Services department has received some phone calls voic ing concerns about the recent letters of inquiry ODS has sent out. These letters are usually asking the mem ber if they have other coverage be sides ODS, or if the visit is related to a work injury. It is very important to complete the questionnaire and return it to ODS so that they may continue to process your claims. If you have received one of these letters and have not answered it, please call Valorie Sheker at 1-800-442-0346 so that she may assist you in completing this task. Remember if you do not answer these letters of in quiry ODS will not pay your claims. Big Hitters - Tribal members Doug Colton (center), the son of Doug Colton Sr. and Jackie Whisler, and Greg Leno (left), whose parents are Merle and Claudia Leno, were recently inducted into the U.S.S.S.A (United States Specialty Sports Association) Hall of Fame for being part of the Native American softball world championship team, -The Chinook Winds Warriors. V 01 01 Western University Pow-wow The Multicultural Student Union's Eight Annual Pow-wow was held on April 7 at West ern Oregon University. Several Tribal members and Royalty attended the all day event. The Grand Ronde Color Guard opened the ceremony.
