The position would run from April 16 to September 14, 2001. Applicant must have the ability to hike in difficult terrain and work in adverse weather conditions. Previous experience with owl andor murrelet surveys pre ferred but not required. Position would also assist the Tribes' Fish and Wildlife department with various assignments. Requires a BS degree or progress to wards a BS in wildlife biology or closely related field. Job will pay $11-12 per hour depending upon experience. These positions are designed and funded for the purpose of providing enhanced opportunities for youth or students. YOUTH CREW LEADER $10.50 per hour. DUTIES: Supervise and provide leadership to a six-person summer youth work crew for eight weeks and assist the Fish and Wildlife Department for approximately four weeks. QUALIFICATIONS: Desire to work with youth andor in natural resources. Must be in good physical condition and be able to work in rugged outdoor terrain. Expe rience in the proper use of hand tools.
