Youth Ambassador Seeks Support
Tribal member ALICIALEIGH
SELWYN, daughter of Marcella
Norwest and Anthony Selwyn, has
been invited to become a member of
the People to People Oregon delega
tion student Ambassador program.
This program is to create a global com
munity based on trust, respect, and
an understanding of other cultures,
economies and political systems.
This is a once in a lifetime event.
The primary goal is to be a represen
tative of their country, area and ex
perience new cultures. Each delega
tion of students will visit Australia
and New Zealand in the summer of
2001. The 22-day South Pacific dis
covery is a learning experience that
allows students to travel and learn
about other cultures.
A fund has been established for
Alicialeigh at the Bank of America in
Willamina. Donations for any amount
are appreciated. We are very proud
of Alicialeigh. We would like your help
to make her dream come true.
Alicialeigh attends Chapman
Middle School in Sheridan.
Thank you for your help,
The Selwyn family
