One criteria for the issuance of a certificate is that the Tribe has a reputation for safe, fair and honest operation of the gaming activity. Comments in this regard are solicited and are to be submitted with your name, address and day-time telephone number, directly to the Office of Self Regulation, National Indian Gaming Commission, 1441 "L" Street, NW 9th Floor, Washington, DC 20005. ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID: CLOSING JULY 7 Water district seeking bids The Rock Creek Water District in Grand Ronde, Oregon is soliciting bids for the construction of a private water storage facility, distribution system, and package treatment plant. Sealed bids will be received no later than 5:00 p.m., July 7, 2000 (post marks not accepted). The installa tion of approximately 24,000 linear feet of 4-inch and 6-inch PVC and ductile iron pipe. Install approxi mately 100 service connections. Con struction of a 200,000 gallon glass lined, bolted steel storage tank and a shelter for, and installation of a pack aged water treatment facility. Also included in the project is the demoli tion of the existing water treatment facility. Copies of the bid package and plans may be obtained at the offices of Otak, Inc. or the Rock Creek Wa ter District. The plans and specifi cation will be sold for $100 per copy. A non-mandatory, pre-paid pack age conference is scheduled for Wednesday, June 21, 2000 at 9:00 a.m. at the project site.
