Tribe, Casino enter float in Grand Floral Parade The 1998 Grand Floral Parade is scheduled for Saturday, June 6 for the third year in a row the Grand Ronde Tribe and Spirit Mountain Casino have entered a float in the parade. This year's Rose Festival theme is "Ticket To Adventure," and the Tribe's entry in the parade is entitled, Adventures of the Spirit. In 1996 and 1997 the Spirit MountainGrand Ronde Tribe's float has won the Sweepstakes Award, the top prize given out by parade judges. Portland's Grand Floral Parade is the largest pa rade west of the Mississippi, and will be televised throughout the Western states.
